The Jimco #74 of Brett Renton have entered the Carnarvon Motel, Pinjarra Engineering Carnarvon 360 for 2016. The team have been a bit quiet lately, not competing in a WAORC event for several years now. But that hasn’t meant that they have been busy with the ex Kevin Hood Jimco racing in multiclub events.
A victory at the inaugural Carnarvon 360 in 2015 signalled Rentons arrival as a challenger for outright victories at any event they enter. Renton then backed this up with a victory at the 2015 Gascoyne Dash against a quality field proving that despite limited running the #74 will be a handful for some of the series regulars come Easter 2016
Keep your eyes out for the #74 Jimco as Brett Renton looks to make it back to back victories at the Carnarvon 360. Some of the Pro Buggy competitors hoping to stop him will be Round 1 winner Shane Elphinstone, multiple times WAORC champion Brad Cooper, Darren Agrela in the Undecided Racing Jimco, Adam Trewhella in his immaculate Jimco and local man Peter Barret in his Bullet Pro Buggy
With 20 entries already and a few more days until entries close, this is going to be one hell of a race, so make sure you get out to the Bibrawarra Bore Road Complex near Carnarvon over the Easter long weekend!!!
