Tri Series Still On The Line

After the 2 rounds of the 2016 CAMS, PGS Industries Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship and 2 rounds of the Tri-Series, it most certainly still game on! The Tri-Series focuses on consistency and finishing, with the average class finishing position determining the winners. Due to this unique format it means that any competitor in any class can take out the win and the prize money! The prize money for the 2016 Tri-Series is 1st $1000, 2nd $700 & 3rd $450.

Currently the top 6 average class finishers with 1 round to run at Kalgoorlie are:

  1. #161 Brett Smith – Avg. Class finish – 1
  2. #968 Brad Cooper – Avg. Class finish – 1.5
  3. #777 Dirk Van Geest – Avg. Class finish – 1.5
  4. #44 Shane Elphinstone – Avg. Class finish – 2
  5. #883 Russell Cullen – Avg. Class finish – 2
  6. #848 Owen Davies – Avg. Class finish – 3

Round 4 of the 2016 CAMS, PGS Industries WAORC at Kalgoorlie on July 9th & 10th will be the final round of the Tri-Series and with some serious prize money on the line, the competitors will be laying it on the line to get the win!

But prior to the Tri-Series decider, all eyes will be on Bencubbin for Round 3 of the 2016 CAMS, PGS Industries WAORC. Held over the 1st weekend of June at Bencubbin, with excellent camping facilities, spectator areas and an awesome race track, this is one of the most popular events on the series. With Marsue Transport on board again as the major event sponsor this great event is continuing to grow. For 2016 the event organisers, the Western Australian Off Road Racing Association (WAORRA) are again pulling out all stops to make sure that this event is another exciting one!
