Extreme 4wds ready for the dash!!!

Posted on Updated on

The Extreme 4wd class is one which has always had a strong link to the Gascoyne Dash. From its origins with the river bed run to its current form, winning this race is on every Extreme 4wd racers to do list!

#848 – Owen and Mitchell Davies will be looking to put the disappointment of round 1 behind them where a blown head gasket took them out of the race whilst in a strong position. The Navara is perfectly suited to this track and its conditions and if like shines on the father and son duo they will be strongly placed come Sunday afternoon

#866 – Mark Murray is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the wild men of the WAORC. With his turbo diesel powered Nissan Patrol churning out some insane torque, Murray has the confidence to throw the #866 into any situation in order to pump out some quick laps. Keep an eye on this one as Murray will go in as the class favorite!

#883 – Russell Cullen had an uncharacteristic DNF at Round 1 of the 2017 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel WAORC. But Cullen is one of the icons of this event, having competed in or been involved in more Gas Dashes than most. Don’t be surprised if he along with co-pilot “Fluffy” can pull a rabbit out of a hat for a race which means a lot to them
