Extreme 2wd Class Preview – Mid West Challenge

The Extreme 2wd class head to the Cochranes Transport Mid West Challenge with a field of 6 ready to rumble. Whilst the class championship is a tight one, there is still a lot more to play out over the final 3 rounds of the 2017 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel WAORC

406 – Colin Doney has been a revelation this season. His consistency and speed putting the iconic blue beetle to the front end of the field more often than not. With 3 strong rounds in the bag, Doney will be wanting to continue the trend and set the tone for the 2nd half of the season

425 – The Geraldton Jet Greg Pickersgill has had an up and down campaign so far in 2017. The multiple times class champion is on the hunt for not just a solid points haul, but a class win at the Cochranes Transport Mid West Challenge. The big Pirtek Truck will be one to watch!

428 – Darryl Hardman is back again, making the trek down from Carnarvon for Round 4 of the 2017 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel WAORC. Hardman will be looking for a strong run to back up his class win at this years Gascoyne Dash

444 – Chris Giles has been ironing out the bugs in his #444 trophy truck and all signs lead to the team being ready to reap the rewards for their hard work. Giles and his crew had a strong run at Bencubbin and will be looking to replicate that form at the Cochranes Transport, Mid West Challenge

455 – Luke “Mr Excitement” Worthington is primed and ready to put on a show! With navigator Luke Candy by his side, this duo are sure to hold it pinned over whatever this track can throw at them. Have your camera’s ready, because you can expect the #455 to be going hard!

469 – Karl Richardson has continued the development of his ex Dale Hands Navara in between rounds. With some improvements to the vehicle a plenty of testing, the yellow Nissan looks in fine form and ready to spring an upset on some of the more seasoned competitors
