The Kiwi Invasion hits WA
The 3 car Kiwi invasion is headed to WA as John Morgan, Raana Horan and Richard Crabb set their sights on the Black Diamond Drilling Kalgoorlie Desert Race.
Crabb is the only competitor with previous KDR experience, having tackled the event in 2017. This time Crabb has updated his Racer buggy to now be V8 buggy, having previously run with V6 turbo power. Crabb will be hoping to improve on his 9th place from last year in a run which was hampered by mechanical dramas
Horan brings to WA an absolute bullet of a Jimco which punches out some serious horsepower in the #89 buggy. With a wealth of experience in off road and now branching off into rally in his spare time, Raana will be hard to stop as he charges through the red dirt and dust of the goldfields
The third and final member of the NZ invasion is John Morgan in the Kaiser Bass Jimco. This vehicle was formerly driven by Danny Auricht and is one of the fastest 6L powered buggies in Australia. Morgan will be aiming for a strong result to round out the 2018 season having had a solid season in the ARB series
