If you are ready for a massive showdown between some of the most spectacular classes off road racing has to offer then look no further! The Extreme 2wd class has turned up in force for the Carnarvon Motel, Three Springs 330!!! We have 7 Extreme 2wds lined up for the final round of the 2016 CAMS, PGS Industries WAORC, lets take a look at the form guide

#406 – It’s great to see Peter Doney back out on track again after he had an off track excursion at the Kalgoorlie 400 earlier this year. The bright blue beetle is one of the best presented vehicles in the field and with a Twin Turbo V6 power plant providing noise this beetle is a serious weapon

#414 – Barry Cochrane is fresh from a class win at Badgingarra will be one of the class favourites heading into Three Springs. The big green truck should be well suited to the Three Springs track and with navigator Ian Murray calling the shots this duo will be hard to beat

#425 – Hand Grenade Racing’s Greg Pickersgill has been consistent all year to hold the class championship lead going into the Three Springs event. Pickers and navigator Greg Finlay will be one duo to watch in their Chevy Silverado

#428 – Darryl Hardman in his Desert Sweet Bananas Pro Truck has travelled all the way down from Carnarvon for the Three Springs event. The thumping V8 pushing the Ford Pro Truck has a sweet note and when it’s on song is a match for any competitor in the class

#444 – Chris Giles is a new competitor to the WAORC. Sponsored by Pinjarra Engineering and Auswest Fibreglass this Ls1 powered machine is going to be one of the dark horses of the field. Our sources tell us not to write off Giles as whilst he may not be known the rest of the competitors before the event, they will certainly remember the big Ford Truck by the end of it

#455 – It has been a while coming, but after a few false starts Luke Worthington is finally back. His bright green V8 powered Toyota Truck is one that you won’t want to take your eyes off. Wortho has a flamboyant driving style, so you can expect to see big roost and massive jumps out of the #455 machine

#477 – If you hear a screaming V8 in the distance which sounds like its going around corners without lifting then the PGS Industries sponsored #477 One Speed Racing machine of Harleigh Uren is probably about to come in to view. As the name suggests, this guy only knows one speed and that is flat out! Uren has shown that he can mix it with the fastest outright runners and will again be a class favourite as long as he can make it to the finish line
