4wd classes up for the fight!

Posted on Updated on

The Extreme 4wd and Production 4wd classes are ready for a big battle at the upcoming Marsue Transport, Bencubbin 400. With a field of 8 extreme 4wds and 1 Production 4wd, the tin tops will be out in force heading into Round 3 of the 2017 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel WAORC

#727 – Steven Baxter from the Baxter Racing team are the only Production 4wds in the field. They will be out to secure some points for heading into the second half of the 2017 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel WAORC, but will also be trying to spoil some of their more modified Extreme 4wd rivals

#807 – John Pursehouse has brought his Ford Ranger back to Australia after some international competition. The Ranger is blisteringly quick and sounds absolutely mental. Keep an eye on Pursehouse as he looks to charge to the front of the field

#814 – Leigh Cooper has entered his Mitsubishi Pajero in the Marsue Transport Bencubbin 400. With the potential shown at the recent Narrogin Chase, Cooper will be up for a battle in the multiclub section of this event

#822 – Dylan James has been hard at work on his Navara since Round 1 at Perenjori. With plenty of modifications and tweaks, the Compound Motorsports Team will be looking for a strong showing at Bencubbin

#823 – Any time Brad Krepp enters an event the rest of the Extreme 4wd field take notice. The bright orange patrol is lightning quick and very reliable and will be hoping that this combination can take him to another class win

#848 – Mitchell Davies has been relishing the opportunity to unleash the #848 Navara so far this season. A strong run at Carnarvon saw him almost pull off a class win and will be hoping to go one better at Bencubbin

#866 – Mark Murray will be one of just 2 diesel powered vehicles racing at Bencubbin. Fresh off a class win at the Gas Dash, Murray is one of the class favorites and will be hoping that he can put his HP Diesel Patrol on the podium

#883 – Russ Cullen will be hoping for a much stronger outing at Bencubbin than he experienced at the Gas Dash. You can’t keep a good man down and big Russ will be expecting to bounce back from an uncharacteristic DNF

#886 – Trevor Pike in his Nissan Pathfinder will be looking for a strong run at the Marsue Transport Bencubbin 400. Whilst its been a difficult year so far for the Dardy Racing Team, the brightly coloured Pathfinder has been grinding away and it wont be long before they pull off a strong result
