WAORC Points after 2 rounds
The 2026 WAORC so far has had 2 events run in very contrasting conditions, Perenjori being hot and dusty, whilst Bencubbin featured a rain hit track with wet and cold conditions. Despite this, its been Adam Trewhella who has take victory in both events and sits on top of the WAORC Outright title chase with 42 points. Trewhella has achieved this in 2 different vehicles, with his main Rimco buggy being shipped off to Finke and missing the Bencubbin event, so he saddled up in the Raceco and took a famous victory, the first in a beam car for over 10 years. Hot on his heels is Matt Dec, who with a 4th and a 2nd has shown great consistency. This effort made all the impressive in that he has chased the AORC and WAORC, competing in all rounds of both championships this year. 3rd is held down by Mark Cramer whose 3rd and 6th place finishes have him in the championship hunt

Throughout the classes, Trewhella also leads Pro Buggy, with Stephen Ketteridge-Hall on top in Prolite. Lee Marsh leads Sportslite and Pieter De Wit is in control of the Super 1650 class. Harleigh Uren is the high points man in Extreme 2wd, whilst Steven Scott leads Performance 2wd. SXS Pro is topped by Matt Dec, whilst SXS Sport sees Jason Stone in the class lead. Brent Jones is on top of Production 4wd and Max Bradley is the lead Extreme 4wd
