The Performance 2wd fields for Round 3 of the 2016 CAMS, PGS Industries WAORC are slightly down on numbers from previous editions, but that doesnt mean the Performance 2wd and Extreme 2wd combatants won’t be pushing the limits in the pursuit of victory.
The only Performance 2wd entrant in the 2016 Marsue Transport Bencubbin 360 is Jordan Russell in his #513 Lancer. With a a whole heap of performance upgrades being added to the Bullet Racing machine since it last hit the track this young crew will be hoping that they can bring home a good result. These young guns will be ones to watch in the future as they continue to improve and upgrade their Performance 2wd machine
Extreme 2wd class will be a showdown between 2 of the big names of the sport. Harleigh Uren in his #477 Extreme 2wd Pro 2 has already shown just how devastatingly quick he can be after winning the prologue at Round 1 at Perenjori. Watch for the big black One Speed Off Road Racing Team, PGS Industries sponsored machine to turn up the heat on the buggies. Keep Harleigh honest will be Greg Pickersgill from Geraldton in his #425 Chevy Silverado truck. ‘Pickers’ pace was on show late in 2015 with strong results at Mogumber and the Gascoyne Dash, but has been plagued by mechanical gremlins so far in 2016. If ‘Pickers’ can get the big Pirtek Trophy Truck on song look out because he will be pushing his way deep into the top 10 come Sunday afternoon!
