Production 4wd Preview – Three Springs 360

The Production 4wd class once again has a highly competitive and evenly matched field ready to take on Round 5 of the 2017 CAMS Carnarvon Motel WAORC. With 2 Toyota’s and 2 Nissan’s, it is very much a battle of the brands and there will be some red hot racing action to come

727 – Steven Baxter is one of the front runners of the Production 4wd class this season. His beautifully presented 80 series landcruiser with mascot Yoshi on the front bumper will be hoping to continue their strong run of results in 2017 and with a calculated drive could reap the rewards from this demanding track

750 – Chris Dawes returns to action after a short time out of racing. The big purple GU Patrol has a screaming TB48 and is always pushed to the absolute limits every time it hits the track. Watch out for the Roadrunner Off Road team as they will be the dark horse of this field

764 – Ben Armstrong is back behind the wheel in the Bottlefed Racing Nissan and will be excited at the prospect of returning to the scene of his class championship win in 2016. Armstrong isn’t the current class champion for no reason and will be looking to extract all the pace fro, the old GQ in its battle for the class win

790 – Graeme Bentink is the only diesel runner in this class and he will be looking to extract every last bit of torque from the GTurbo enhance VDJ79. Bentink is currently leading the Production 4wd class and is on a strong run of form in 2017 which he will be hoping to continue at Three Springs’
