Superlite field ready to rumble

Posted on Updated on

With the strongest Superlite field that we have seen in years, Round 3 of the 2017 CAMS Carnarvon Motel WAORC should be in intriguing one. The most interesting point about this field is that the 3 different vehicles are all from different manufacturers. Can Am, Polaris and Yamaha each represented at the upcoming event

#654 – Rob Clarke will be having his debut run in his XRacing Yamaha YZX Side by Side. Whilst Clarke has not raced in the WAORC previously, he has had plenty of experience in his Yamaha  most recently competing in a gravel rally sprint competition

#674 – Chris Unstead in his Can Am X3 will be hoping that his strong form at the Narrogin Chase will continue at the Marsue Transport Bencubbin 400. Unstead surprised a lot of people with a fast and reliable run at Narrogin and if he can transfer that form over to the long course format he will be in with a big shot at taking out Superlite B

#699 – Ashley Sudholz has entered his Polaris RZR 1000 turbo and will be hoping for a strong result. Sudholz has previous off road racing experience in a short wheel base Nissan Patrol, but the Superlite is an entirely different proposition. Watch out for the #699 machine to put on a show
